**HOT** Ultimate BAe146/Avro RJ Beta Testing Progress

Unread postby Lars » Sun Jan 29, 2012 2:10 pm

Hey Everyone.

I thought I'd take a minute to give you all an update on how the beta testing goes so far.

The testers received the third beta build last week and so far we fixed about 120 issues in all areas of the product.
That may sound like a lot but it's what we expected for the first builds.

There have been two areas of focus in the first two builds.
One was making sure that all the core systems like electrics, fuel, hydraulics, etc. work like they should. Basically
everything that you find on the 2D panel has been tested in depth.
The other area of focus was the VC integration. All clickable buttons and switches from the 2D work in the VC as well.

At this point I can say that the 2D panel and VC are pretty much done & tested. Of course there are probably some small
things here and there that we need to look at but for the most part we're done with it.

From now on the testing focuses on the FMC and autoflight aspects. Meaning LNAV, VNAV, Autothrottle, Autolands, etc.

Meanwhile the manual, the livery-/loadmanager and the distribution system is heavily being worked on. As you can
see, a lot is happening behind the scenes.

We have an internal target release date of February 26th. This is no fixed release date! We try our very best to deliver it in time
but also know that especially VNAV usually needs a lot of time to get right. I'm sure you understand that it won't be released until we're
perfectly happy with the result.

I hope this gives everyone an idea where we are. I'll keep you in the loop and thank you all for your patience!

I can't wait. The model looks absolutely amazing. I can not wait until this gets released but I think I can contain myself for another month or two... I hope! I love the 757 and know that anything you guys release will be amazing. By the way, thank you for being one of the only groups to still make models for fs9. For people like me whose computers run fsx horribly, it is much appreciated and makes it worth all of the money to buy and fly!

The FSX version will be a free update. QualityWings always sells FS9 and FSX versions in one.

It doesn't cost anything. You get both for one price.

I hope FSX version release as soon as possible because I have not FS9 on my PC.

Can I just do not buy the FSX only version?

As I said just two posts above. FS9 and FSX versions are sold in one package.
