QualityWings Simulations is pleased to announce a new aircraft to be released in our Ultimate Series as:
The Ultimate BAe146 / Avro RJ Collection

Before we get into features and timeframes, the popular question will probably be "What happened to the Boeing 787?"
The answer is: Nothing happened to it. The 787 is still a primary focus of QualityWings and we are still making progress and proceeding. The reality is that the majority of the QualityWings team has been working on this Avro series for over 2 years to be released outside of QualityWings.
The decision was made by the Avro team members to bring the aircraft to QualityWings Simulations and we are delighted that this fine British piece of engineering will carry the QualityWings brand.
Now onto the Fun stuff...
What to expect
The best thing that could have happened to the Avro series was that it followed the Ultimate 757. Why? Because just like the 787, it has and will benefit from all lessons learned from the 757. The features on the model will be nothing short of amazing. Lars has raised the bar in exterior modeling, Jacob has stepped up his game with the Virtual Cockpit, Ernie is taking it to another level with Systems programming, Emil's sounds promise to be amazing again and with the help of the Avro pilots we have on the Team - Nick will be sure to make this Avro feel as right as the 757 did! Oh and about the livery work. QualityWings would like to introduce and welcome Mr. Samy Fay who is responsible for the textures on the Avro. If you guys don't know Samy, you will soon and you will never forget him. His livery work doesn't take a back seat to anyone in this community and you will not find a painter who pays more meticulous attention to detail than Samy. He really does count the rivets. Ok - maybe not, but you get the point, his work is as detailed as it gets!

Exterior Modeling
The Collection will contain the BAe146-100, -200 and -300; as well as the Avro RJ70, 85 and 100 airplanes modeled to the highest level of detail.
Each Model will come with a correct replication of the real world flightdeck, including all the differences most of you don’t even know about YET.
Of course, just like with the 757, we will offer a wide variety of liveries free of charge.

Virtual Cockpit
Each variant has their own virtual cockpit, detailed to the highest standards and with tons of animations such as working windscreen wipers and opening windows to name a few.
Forget what you’ve seen on our 757. This is another world.

Systems modeling
We are happy with the level of complexity we achieved on the 757. Nevertheless we listened to you and will step things up for those who really want to go a step further.
We simulate the Electrical system, Fuel system, Hydraulics, Air supply, Air Conditioning, Pressurization, Ice Protection, and much more…
Nevertheless we try to find a good balance and keep things simplified where necessary. Just as our motto suggests: Complexity...Simplified!
The Overhead panel alone consists of more than 130 individual annunciators, making this British bird - brought to you by QualityWings - so special. In this package we offer
you three different panel types. The old fashioned fully analogue BAe146-100/-200 cockpit, the modernized BAe146-300 cockpit featuring newer EFIS instrumentation
as well as the most recent version, the Avro RJ cockpit. All in one package!
Flight Dynamics
As mentioned earlier, the FDE is designed by our very own commercial pilot Nick Peterson, who already created an incredibly realistic feel for the 757. With the help of real world Avro pilots we have
on the team, Nick is prepared to make this plane behave exactly like it should.
Sounds
A lot of the positive feedback to our 757 was in regards to the sounds. Sounds play a huge role here at QualityWings. Once again Emil will work his magic and now even makes use of FSX sound-cones.
Be sure that this soundset will be of the same high quality you’re used to from us.

This product will be available for FS9 and FSX as one package and is scheduled to be released in Q3 2011.
All the screenshots shown are from FS9 and work-in-progress.
As always, when we have something new to say / show, we will.
The QualityWings Team
